民間航空再開50周年 2002 (平成14年) 9月6日発行
日本は、太平洋戦争終結により、GHQによって全ての航空機の運航が停止された。その後、 1950年 (昭和25) 6月、GHQにより日本の航空会社による運航禁止が解除され、1951年1月に民間航空として「日本航空」が発足し、1952年に、ダグラスDC-4B型機「高千穂号」によって自主運航を開始した。切手は、その50年を記念して発行され、「プロペラ旅客機とジェット旅客機」がデザインされている。

Japan was banned from operating all aircraft by GHQ due to the end of the Pacific War. After that, in June 1950 (Showa 25), the ban on operations by Japanese airlines was lifted by GHQ, and in January 1951, "Japan Airlines" was launched as a civil aviation. In 1952, the Douglas DC-4B aircraft "Takachiho" started operation. The stamp was issued in commemoration of the 50th anniversary, and "propeller passenger plane and jet passenger plane" are designed.
