国宝小型シート 1950年（昭和25年）～ 1951年（昭和26年） 第1次動植物国宝図案切手のうち、上記の4種が小型シートとして発行された。このうち、平等院鳳凰堂24円切手は、1950年にGHQが郵政省の記念切手（小型シート）濫発について自粛指示を出したため、それ迄2回発行された切手趣味週間切手は発行されず、その代わりとして発行されたものである。
