大東亜戦争１年 1942年（昭和17年）12月8日発行 （みほん）
1941年（昭和16年）12月8日、日本はアメリカに宣戦布告し、太平洋戦争が勃発した。1年後には日本は連合軍に対して劣勢となったが、政府は逓信省に指示して、陸軍と海軍の戦闘をデザインした切手を2種発行した。

1st anniversary of the Pacific War Issued on December 8, 1942 (Showa 17) - Specimen -
On December 8, 1941 (Showa 16), Japan declared war on the United States, and the Pacific War broke out. A year later, Japan was inferior to the Allied Forces, but the government instructed the Ministry of Communications to issue two stamps designed for army and navy combat.
