小判切手 （U小判切手） 1883年（明治16年） 発行 （みほん）
1883年（明治16年）、万国郵便連合（UPU)の取り決めに従い、旧小判切手の内、1銭、2銭、5銭の3種の印刷色が変更された。この3種類をUPUの頭文字をとって「U小判切手」と呼ぶ。

Koban stamp (U Koban stamp) Issued in 1883 (Meiji 16) - Specimen -
In 1883 (Meiji 16), three kinds of printing colors, 1 sen, 2 sen, and 5 sen, among old Koban stamps, were changed according to the agreement of Universal Postal Union (UPU). These three types are called "U Koban stamps" by taking the initials of UPU.
