震災切手 1923年（大正12年）発行 1923年（大正12年）9月、関東大震災が起こった。逓信省切手倉庫が火災ですべて焼けたため、切手供給が停止した。そのため、急遽民間印刷会社による9種類の暫定切手が制作・発行された。翌1924年（大正13年）春、正規切手が復活したので、この切手は廃止された。
Earthquake stamp Issued on 1923 (Taisho 12) The Great Kanto Earthquake struck in September 1923 (Taisho 12). Supply of stamps was stopped because the Ministry of Communications postage stamp warehouse was completely burned by the fire. Therefore, nine types of temporary stamps were urgently produced and issued by private printing company. The following stamp was abolished in the spring of 1924 (Taisho 13), as the regular stamp was revived.
