日本国際切手展は、切手展のうち、特に世界各国から作品を募る催事をいう。国際展では作品を審査するルールとして国際郵趣連盟 (FIP) の規則で開催される切手展が多く、FIP展と呼ばれる。毎年、FIP加盟国の3～5カ国で持ち回り開催されている。切手は、1991年東京で開催された日本国際切手展を記念して小型シートと共に発行され、江戸時代の浮世絵師 歌川国貞画「こしゃく娘」がデザインされている。
