郵政省は、1992年4月、切手趣味週間切手を発行した。今回は、山口蓬春 (やまぐちほうしゅん) 画「榻上の花 (とうじょうのはな) 」が採用された。山口蓬春は、昭和初期から後期にかけて活躍した日本画家であり、画風は西欧絵画の日本的表現と評価される。
