郵政省は、1993年3月から1994年1月まで、日本の伝統的な四季の花をテーマとする切手を、4集にわたり8種発行した。これらの切手はすべて著名画家による日本画で描かれたものが採用された。このリーフは第3集 「秋」 である。

From March 1993 to January 1994, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications issued 4 collections and 8 types of stamps on the theme of traditional Japanese seasonal flowers. All of these stamps were drawn in Japanese paintings by well-known painters. This leaf is the 3rd collection (Autumn).
