郵政省は1993年7月、「ふみの日」キャンペーン切手を発行した。ふみの日とは、郵政省が1979年に制定した 7月23日の手紙記念日である。1993年切手は、「木陰の子犬と手紙」、「飛べ手紙」がデザインされている。なお、小型シートと、切手帳が併せて発行された。
