World Congress of the World Federation for Mental Health Issued on August 23, 1993 (Heisei 5)
The World Federation for Mental Health (WFMH) was founded in London in 1948 and is an internationally acclaimed organization that is in a position to consult with the United Nations and related organizations and has a close relationship with WHO. The World Congress is held every two years, and the 1993 World Congress was held in Japan (Makuhari City, Chiba Prefecture). Stamps are issued in commemoration of this, and a "spreading heart" is designed.
