第10回国際エイズ会議 1994 (平成6年) 8月 5日発行
1994年8月、日本の横浜において第10回国際エイズ会議／国際STD会議が開催された。世界130か国から1万人以上の研究者，医療従事者，行政関係者らが集った。エイズが最初に確認されたのはアメリカで、1985年3月にアメリカジョージア州アトランタで、第1回国際エイズ会議が開催された。日本での会議に際して切手「瞳と会議マーク」が発行された。
10th International Conference on AIDS Issued on June 3, 1994 (Heisei 6)
In August 1994, the 10th International AIDS Conference / International STD Conference was held in Yokohama, Japan. More than 10,000 researchers, healthcare professionals, and government officials from 130 countries around the world gathered. AIDS was first confirmed in the United States, and in March 1985, the first International AIDS Conference was held in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. A stamp "Hitomi to Conference Mark" was issued at the time of the conference in Japan.
