1994年、郵政省は日本の郵便切手発行の歴史を顧みる趣旨で、「切手の歩みシリーズ」を6集 (20種) 発行した。選ばれた切手は、最初の手彫切手および記念切手、航空切手、産業図案、切手趣味週間まで、時代を象徴するものである。このリーフは第2集である。
The History of Postage Stamps Series 2 Issued on November 18, 1994 (Heisei 6)
In 1994, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications published 6 collections (20 types) of the "Stamp History Series" with the intention of looking back on the history of postage stamp issuance in Japan. The stamps chosen symbolize the times, from the first hand- carved stamps and commemorative stamps, airmail stamps, industrial designs, to stamp hobby week. This leaf is the 2nd collection.
