1994年アジア競技大会 (12th Asian Games Hiroshima 1994) は1994年10月に広島県広島市で行われた第12回アジア競技大会である。この大会は広島市への原子爆弾投下という特異な歴史がある広島で、アジア諸国間の平和と調和促進をテーマに開催された。当大会の首都以外での開催は初めてだった。切手は、この大会を記念して3種発行され、「セパタクロー」「3000メートル障害」「シンクロナイズド・スイミング」がデザインされている。

The 1994 Asian Games Hiroshima 1994 is the 12th Asian Games held in Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture in October 1994. This tournament was held in Hiroshima, which has a unique history of dropping an atomic bomb on Hiroshima City, with the theme of promoting peace and harmony between Asian countries. This was the first time that the tournament was held outside the capital. Three kinds of stamps are issued to commemorate this tournament"Sepak takraw", "3000m steeplechase" and "synchronized swimming" are designed.
