Yoshika Kanashima is a Japanese painter who was active in the Showa period. He hosted the Kinugasa-kai in a private school, and she was good at her bird-and-flower paintings that incorporated the Shijo school and the graduate school style. By the way, 1995 (Heisei 7)On January 17, there was a major earthquake of magnitude 7.3 with the epicenter in the northern part of Awaji Island in Hyogo Prefecture. In particular, the damage to Kobe City was enormous, and the number of victims reached 6,434, which is the second largest earthquake disaster that occurred after World War II after the Great East Japan Earthquake. The stamp was issued with a donation for this disaster.
