1995年夏季ユニバーシアード (XVIII Summer Universiade) は、1995年に福岡県福岡市で行われた。開会式は、オリンピック・ユニバーシアードを通じて史上初めて屋内で開催された。聖火台は、大会期間中、1990年に開催された「とびうめ国体」の メイン会場だった「博多の森陸上競技場」の炬火台に灯された。切手は、この大会を記念して発行され、「マラソン」がデザインされている。
1995 Universiade in Fukuoka Issued on August 23, 1995 (Heisei 7)
The 1995 Summer Universiade (XVIII Summer Universiade) was held in Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture in 1995. The opening ceremony was held indoors for the first time in history through the Olympic Universiade. The torch stand was lit on the bonfire stand of the Hakata no Mori Athletics Stadium, which was the main venue of the Tobiume National Athletic Meet held in 1990 during the tournament. Stamps are issued in commemoration of this tournament, and a "marathon" is designed.
