第50回国民体育大会は、福島県の福島市とその周辺で開催された完全国体 (1県のみで夏・秋・冬期開催) である。切手は、この大会を記念して発行され、「自転車競技とネモトシャクナゲ」がデザインされている。
50th National Athletic Meet Issued on October 13, 1995 (Heisei 7)
The 50th National Athletic Meet is a complete National Athletic Meet held around Fukushima City in Fukushima Prefecture (held in summer, autumn, and winter in only one prefecture). Stamps are issued in commemoration of this tournament and designed with "Cycling and Nemoto Shakunage".
