Philatelic Week Issued on April 19, 1996 (Heisei 8)
In April 1996, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications issued stamp hobby weekly stamps and small sheets. This time, Yukihiko Yasuda's painting "Window" was adopted. Yukihiko Yasuda is a Japanese painter and calligrapher from the Taisho era to the Showa era. He is a professor at Tokyo Fine Arts School. Yukihiko Yasuda is a master of historical painting along with Seison Maeda, and was involved in the restoration of the burnt-out Horyuji Kondo mural painting.
