郵政省は1997年7月、「ふみの日」キャンペーン切手を発行した。みの日とは、郵政省が1979年に制定した 7月23日の手紙記念日である。1997年切手は4種発行され、「風船」、「鳥」「虹の森」「あいさつ」がデザインされている。なお、小型シートと、切手帳が併せて発行された。
Letter Writing Day 1 Issued on July 23, 1997 (Heisei 9)
In July 1997, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications issued "Fumi Day" campaign stamp. Only Day is his July 23 letter anniversary, enacted by the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications in 1979. Four kinds of stamps were issued in 1997, and "balloons", "birds", "rainbow forests" and "greetings" are designed. A small sheet and a stamp booklet were issued together.
