新国立劇場 (New National Theatre, Tokyo) は、1997年に開場した東京都渋谷区にある歌劇場・劇場である。日本芸術文化振興会が設置し、公益財団法人 新国立劇場運営財団が委託を受けて運営をしている。オペラ劇場、中劇場、小劇 場の3つの劇場が設けられ、オペラ、バレエ、現代舞踊、演劇の自主公演が行われている。切手は、それを記念して発行され、「オペラ‟タケル”」がデザインされている。

The New National Theater, Tokyo is an opera house and theater located in Shibuya Ward, Tokyo, which opened in 1997. Established by the Japan Arts Council, it is operated by the New National Theatre Foundation. There are three theaters, an opera theater, a middle theater, and a small theater, where independent performances of opera, ballet, contemporary dance, and theater are held. Stamps are issued in commemoration of that, and "Opera'Takeru'" is designed.
