日本の民家シリーズ1 1997年 (平成9) 11月28日～1998 (平成10) 2月23日発行郵政省は、1997年11月から1999年2月まで、「日本の民家シリーズ」を、5集 (11種) 発行した。日本の民家は、日本建築史や民俗学では、主に江戸時代の農家、町家の類を民家という。明治時代以降に建立された住宅で、伝統的様式・技法を用いたものもこれに含まれる。また、中・下層の武士の住まいも民家に含める場合がある。このリーフは、第1集と第2集である。

From November 1997 to February 1999, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications published 5 collections (11 types) of the "Japanese Private House Series". In Japanese architectural history and folklore, Japanese folk houses are mainly called farmhouses and townhouses in the Edo period. This includes houses built after the Meiji era that use traditional styles and techniques. In addition, the residences of middle and lower samurai may be included in private houses. This leaf is the first and second collection.
