郵政省は1998年7月、「ふみの日」キャンペーン切手を発行した。みの日とは、郵政省が1979年に制定した 7月23日の手紙記念日である。1998年切手は4種発行され、いずれも「手紙と子供」がデザインされている。なお、小型シートと、切手帳が併せて発行された。
Letter Writing Day 3 Issued on July 23, 1998 (Heisei 10)
In July 1998, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications issued a "Fumi Day" campaign stamp. Only Day is his July 23 letter anniversary, enacted by the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications in 1979. Four kinds of stamps were issued in 1998, and all of them are designed with "letter and children". A small sheet and a stamp booklet were issued together.
