落語は、江戸時代の日本で成立し、現在まで伝承されている伝統的な話芸である。最後に「落ち (終わりの一言) 」がつくことをひとつの特徴である。落語は、市民・大衆のための芸能として広がった。現在はプロの落語家によって演じられることが多い。落語家は、話の中で興味深い情景を観客にイメージさせ、道具として扇子や手拭を使う。切手は、著名な落語家の演じる「落語」をデザインしている。
1999 Shomon raifuku Rakugo- (comic story) Stamp Issued on March 12, 1999 (Heisei 11)
Rakugo is a traditional Japanese storytelling that was established in Japan during the Edo period and has been handed down to this day. One of the features is that "fall (a word of the end)" is added at the end. Rakugo spread as a performing art for citizens and the masses. Currently, it is often performed by professional rakugoka. Rakugoka makes the audience imagine interesting scenes in the story, and uses fans and towels as tools. The stamps are designed for "Rakugo" played by a well-known rakugo artist.
