1999年 (平成11) 3月、第25回日本医学会総会と「生命の博覧会」が東京国際展示場で開催された。郵政省はこれを記念して切手を発行した。この切手は、人間の体内イラストとアスクレピオス (ギリシャ神話の医術の神) がデザインされている。
25th General Assembly of the Japan Medical Congress Issued on April 2, 1999 (Heisei 11)
In March 1999, the 25th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Association of Medical Sciences and the "Expo of Life" were held at the Tokyo International Exhibition Center. The Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications issued this commemorative stamp. This stamp is designed with an illustration of the human body and Asclepius (the god of medicine in Greek mythology).
