民法商法施行100周年 1999 (平成11年) 7月19日発行
民法 (Civil Code) は、日本における、私法の一般法について定めた法律。商法 (Commercial Code) は、商人の営業、商行為について定めた日本の法律。1899年 (明治32) 3月に公布された。いずれも所管官庁は、法務省である。切手は、民法・商法100年を記念して発行され、「民法・商法の起草者 (富井雅章、梅健次郎、穂積陳重) 」がデザインされている。
Centenary of Enforcement of the Civil Code and the Commercial Code Issued on July 19, 1999 (Heisei 11)
The Civil Code is a law that stipulates the general law of private law in Japan. The Commercial Code is a Japanese law that stipulates the business and conduct of merchants. It was promulgated in March 1899 (Meiji 32). The competent authority for each is the Ministry of Justice. The stamp is issued in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the Civil Code and the Commercial Code, and is designed by "Drafts of the Civil Code and the Commercial Code (Masaaki Tomii, Kenjiro Ume, Hozumi Nobushige)".
