日本プロ野球セパ誕生50周年 1999年 (平成11年) 10月22日発行
1949年 (昭和24) 、日本野球連盟が球団数拡大問題で対立し、セントラル・リーグとパシフィック・リーグに分裂した。それによって日本野球機構 (NPB) が誕生した。切手は、セパ両リーグ誕生50年を記念して発行され、「各球団のマスコット」がデザインされている。
50th Anniv. of Nippon Professional Baseball Issued on October 22, 1999 (Heisei 11)
In 1949 (Showa 24), the Japanese Baseball League confronted the issue of expanding the number of baseball teams and split into the Central League and the Pacific League. As a result, the Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) was born. The stamp is issued to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the birth of both Sepa leagues, and the "mascot of each team" is designed.
