子どもの本の日/国際子ども図書館開館 2000年 (平成12年) 3月31日発行
国際子どもの本の日 (International Children's Book Day) は、イエラ・レップマンの提唱により国際児童図書評議会 (IBBY) が制定した。日本では、IBBY日本支部の日本児童図書評議会 (JBBY) が日本語版を作成して、ウェブサイト公開や公共図書館への配布を行っている。切手は、2000年3月に、国際子どもの本の日と国際子ども図書館の開館を記念して発行され、「はなのおはなし」「子供の図書館」「みんなの図書館」「ちょうちょになったわたし」がデザインされている。
