日本国際切手展2001 (PHILANIPPON'01) は、「世界が集う夢がふくらむ 切手の祭典」をテーマに、「写真付き切手」のデモンストレーション販売を実施するなど、郵趣に関わる郵便事業関係者のみならず一般利用者を対象にした幅広いイベントとして開催された。切手は、シール式シートで発行され、歴代の著名な切手がデザインされている。

The Japan International Stamp Exhibition 2001 (PHILANIPPON'01) is not limited to those involved in the postal business, such as holding a demonstration sale of "stamps with photos" under the theme of "a festival of stamps where the world gathers and dreams grow". It was held as a wide range of events for general users. Stamps are issued on sticker sheets and are designed with famous stamps of all time.
