九州・沖縄サミット 2000 (平成12年) 6月 21日発行
第26回主要国首脳会議は、2000年 (平成12) 7月21日から23日まで、日本の沖縄県名護市の万国津梁館で開催された主要国首脳会議。20世紀最後のサミットであり、日本初の地方開催のサミットでもある。切手は、このサミットを記念して2種発行され、「梅とハマユウ」「デイゴとオオゴマダラ」がデザインされている。
Kyushu-Okinawa Summit 2000 Issued on June 21, 2000 (Heisei 12)
The 26th G8 Summit was held from July 21st to 23rd, 2000 at Bankoku Shinryokan in Nago City, Okinawa Prefecture, Japan. It is the last summit of the 20th century and the first regional summit in Japan. Two kinds of stamps are issued in commemoration of this summit, and "Plum and Hamayu" and "Deigo and Large Tree Nymph" are designed.
