社会を明るくする運動50回 2000 (平成12年) 6月30日発行
社会を明るくする運動は、法務省が主唱する社会運動である。犯罪をなくして社会を明るくするために、すべての日本国民が犯罪の防止と犯罪者の矯正および更生保護についての正しい理解を深めることを提唱する。そして、すすんでこれらの活動に協力するように全国民によびかける啓発活動である。切手は、この活動50回を記念して連刷発行され、「ヒマワリ」がデザインされている。
The 50th. of Crime Prevention Campaign Issued on June 30, 2000 (Heisei 12)
The movement to brighten society is a social movement advocated by the Ministry of Justice. We advocate that all Japanese citizens have a better understanding of crime prevention, criminal correction and rehabilitation protection in order to eliminate crime and brighten society. And it is an enlightenment activity that encourages all the people to cooperate in these activities. Stamps are printed continuously in commemoration of this activity 50 times, and "sunflower" is designed.
