第100回日本皮膚科学会総会・学術大会が2001年4月，東京で開催された。1901年以来開催されてきた日本皮膚科学会の100回目に当たり、記念特別シンポジウムが行われた。切手はこれを記念して発行され、「皮膚のイメージと大会ロゴマーク」がデザインされている。
The 100th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Dermatological Association Issued on April 6, 2001 (Heisei 13)
The 100th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Dermatological Association was held in Tokyo in April 2001. A commemorative special symposium was held for the 100th time of the Japanese Dermatological Association, which has been held since 1901. The stamp was issued in commemoration of this, and the "skin image and tournament logo mark" was designed.
