On November 5, 2001, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications issued three types of cultural stamps (Vol. 10). Kokugaku scholar Motoori Norinaga and Joruri Dayu Takemoto Gidayu. Motoori Norinaga is a national scholar, philologist, linguist, and doctor in the Edo period. He is one of the "Four Great Men of Kokugaku" along with Harumitsu Narita, Kamo no Mabuchi, and Atsutane Hirata.Gidayu Takemoto talks about Joruri in the Edo period. He is the founder of Gidayubushi Joruri.
