2001年11月5日、郵政省は文化人切手3種 (第10集 )を発行した。国学者の本居宣長と、浄瑠璃大夫の竹本義太夫である。本居宣長は、江戸時代の国学者・文献学者・言語学者・医師。荷田春満、賀茂真淵、平田篤胤とともに「国学の四大人 (しうし) 」の一人である。竹本義太夫は、江戸時代の浄瑠璃語り。義太夫節浄瑠璃の創始者である。
Cultural Leaders Issued on November 5, 2001 (Heisei 13)
On November 5, 2001, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications issued three types of cultural stamps (Vol. 10). Kokugaku scholar Motoori Norinaga and Joruri Dayu Takemoto Gidayu. Motoori Norinaga is a national scholar, philologist, linguist, and doctor in the Edo period. He is one of the "Four Great Men of Kokugaku" along with Harumitsu Narita, Kamo no Mabuchi, and Atsutane Hirata.Gidayu Takemoto talks about Joruri in the Edo period. He is the founder of Gidayubushi Joruri.
