世界フィギュアスケート選手権大会 2002 (平成14年) 3月 8日発行
1896年に初めて世界フィギュアスケート選手権がロシアのサンクトペテルブルクで開かれた。1952年には、新たにアイスダンスを加えた大会がパリで開かれ、ほぼ現在と同じ形となったアジア地域では、1977年に初めて東京において開催された。切手は、2002年3月、長野で行われたこの大会を記念して発行され、「男子シングルにリンドウ」と「ペアと福寿草」がデザインされている。
2002 World Figure Skating Championships Issued on March 8, 2002 (Heisei 14)
The first World Figure Skating Championships were held in St. Petersburg, Russia in 1896. In 1952, a new ice dance competition was held in Paris, which was held in Tokyo for the first time in 1977 in the Asian region, which has almost the same shape as it is today. The stamp was issued in commemoration of this tournament held in Nagano in March 2002, and "Gentiana for men's single" and "Pair and Fukujusou" are designed.
