台湾は1895年 (明治28年) から1945年 (昭和20年) までの50年間、日本領土だった。台湾には3つの国立公園があった。戦時色が濃くなった1941年 (昭和16) 、大屯、新高阿里山、次高太魯閣国立公園切手が同時に発行された。小型シートは3国立公園を合わせて2シート、7.6万枚発行された。
