1962年 (昭和37) 9月、郵政省は日光国立公園切手4種を発行した。日光国立公園は、栃木県日光市を中心とに、群馬県、福島県の3県にまたがる国立公園である。日光地域、鬼怒川・栗山地域、那須甲子・塩原地域の三地域に分けられる。戦前1938年 (昭和13) に同公園切手4種が第1次として発行されている。
Nikko National Park (Second) Issued on 9 , 1 , 1962 (Showa 37)
In September 1962 (Showa 37), the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications issued four types of Nikko National Park stamps. Nikko National Park is a national park that spans Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture, Gunma Prefecture, and Fukushima Prefecture. It is divided into three areas: Nikko area, Kinugawa / Kuriyama area, and Nasu Koshi / Shiobara area.This stamp is the second issue. In 1938 (Showa 13) before the war, four kinds of stamps of the park were first issued.
