Setonaikai National Park (Second) Issued on 8 , 20 , 1963 (Showa 38)
In August 1963 (Showa 38), the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications issued two types of Setonaikai National Park stamps (secondary). Setonaikai National Park is an inland sea archipelago landscape formed by over 1000 large and small islands. At the beginning of the designation, it was a part of the area including Mt. Washuzan in Kurashiki City and Mt. Ojigatake, but the area has expanded several times since then, and now it is the largest park in Japan including the sea area. Mt. Washuyama, Mt. Ojigatake, Mt. Yukayama, Mt. Ryuozan, etc. are designated as "special areas" designated by the country that maintains an excellent natural landscape in the park. The first stamp was issued in 1939 with Daisen National Park.
