上信越高原国立公園 (第2次) 1965 (昭和40) 3月 15日発行
1965年3月、郵政省は上信越高原国立公園切手 (2次) 2種を発行した。
上信越高原国立公園は、上信越高原国立公園は、群馬・長野・新潟3県に広がる山岳と高原と温泉の国立公 園である。公園内には、谷川、草津、浅間山、軽井沢、志賀高原などがある。新潟・長野県境の群馬県山岳地域は、そのほとんどが公園域となっており、谷川岳や浅間山、草津白根などの独特な景観を持った火山、また広大な高原、温泉などが至る所に見られる。 この公園内には温泉やスキー場が多く、観光やスポーツ・登山などで有名な場所である。
第1次切手は、1954年 (昭和29) に発行された。

In March 1965, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications issued two type of Joshinetsu Kogen National Park stamps (secondary). Joshinetsu Kogen National Park is a national public park of mountains, plateaus and hot springs that spreads over the three prefectures of Gunma, Nagano and Niigata. There are Tanigawa, Kusatsu, Mt. Asama, Karuizawa, Shiga Kogen, etc. In the park.Most of the mounta- inous area of Gunma prefecture on the border between Niigata and Nagano is a park area, and you can see volcanoes with unique scenery such as Mt. Tanigawa, Mt. Asama, and Mt. Kusatsu-Shirane, as well as vast plateaus and hot springs everywhere. Be done.There are many hot springs and ski resorts in this park, and it is a famous place for sightseeing, sports, mountain climbing, etc.
The first stamp was issued in 1954 (Showa 29).
