1967年 (昭和42) 11月、郵政省は秩父多摩国立公園切手2種を発行した。
秩父多摩国立公園は、北奥千丈岳を最高峰とする奥秩父山塊を中心とする、埼玉県、山梨県、長野県、東京都に跨る国立公園。面積126,259ha。日本百名山に数えられる金峰山、瑞牆山、大菩薩嶺、雲取山や、渓谷美で知られる西沢渓谷、東沢渓谷や御岳昇仙峡などがよく知られる。
Chichibu-Tama National Park (Second) Issued on 11 , 27 , 1967 (Showa 42)
In November 1967 (Showa 42), the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications issued two types of Chichibu Tama National Park stamps. Chichibu Tama National Park is a national park that spans Saitama, Yamanashi, Nagano, and Tokyo, centered on the Okuchichibu Mountains with Kitaokusenjodake as the highest peak. Area 126,259ha.
Mt. Kinpou, Mt. Mizugaki, Mt. Daibosatsu, which is one of the 100 famous mountains in Japan. Mt. Kumotori, Nishizawa Valley, which is known for its beauty, Higashizawa Valley and Mitake Shosenkyo are well known.
