北長門国定公園 1962 (昭和37) 2 月 15 日発行
1962年 (昭和37) 2月、郵政省は北長門国定公園切手1種を発行した。
北長門国定公園は、山口県萩市、阿武町、長門市、下関市周辺の海岸線エリアである。 1955年 (昭和30) に国定公園に指定された。青海 (おうみ) 島は、代表的景勝地である。隣接する萩市は、松下村塾 (しょうかそんじゅく) や明倫 (めいりん) 館などの史跡がある。切手は、青海島がデザインされている。

In February 1962 (Showa 37), the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications issued one kind of Kita Nagato National Park stamp.
Kita Nagato National Park is a coastline area around Hagi City, Abu Town, Nagato City, and Shimonoseki City, Yamaguchi Prefecture.It was designated as a national park in 1955 (Showa 30). Oumi Island is a typical scenic spot.The adjacent Hagi City has historic sites such as Shokasonjuku Academy and Meirinkan.
The stamp is designed by Oumi Island.
