錦江湾国定公園 1962 (昭和37) 4 月 30 日発行
1962年 (昭和37) 4月、郵政省は錦江湾国定公園切手1種を発行した。
錦江湾国定公園は、1955年 (昭和30) に指定、鹿児島県桜島と錦江湾がその地域だった。その後、1964年に霧島国立公園と屋久島地区が統合されて、霧島屋久国立公園となった。更にその後、2012年に屋久島地区が分離して、「霧島錦江湾国立公園」となったとなった。陸域面積366平方キロメートル。霧島地区は霧島火山帯の主要部であり、火山やカルデラの凹地が連なり、豊かな植生景観がみられる。
切手は、桜島と錦江湾がデザインされている。
KinKō - Wan Quasi-National Park Issued on 4 , 30 , 1962 (Showa 37)
In April 1962 (Showa 37), the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications issued one kind of Kinko Bay Quasi-National Park Stamp.
Kinko Bay Quasi-National Park was designated in 1955 (Showa 30), and the areas were Sakurajima and Kinko Bay in Kagoshima Prefecture. Then, in 1964, the Kirishima National Park and the Yakushima area were integrated into the Kirishima Yakushima National Park. After that, in 2012, the Yakushima area was separated and became Kirishima Kinkowan National Park.Land area 366 square kilometers. The Kirishima area is the main part of the. Kirishima volcanic belt, and is lined with volcanoes and calderas, and has a rich vegetation
landscape. The stamps are designed by Sakurajima and Kinko Bay.
