1964年 (昭和39) 1月、郵政省若狭湾国定公園切手1種を発行した。
若狭湾国定公園は、福井県の「気比の松原」から、丹後半島 (京都府) 「岩滝町」に至る約75kmの海岸、および京都府与謝野郡伊根町 (青島) から京都府の小浜海岸に至る約45kmの海岸等を中心とする。 この公園は、1955年6月に指定された。
切手は、高浜海岸がデザインされている。

In January 1964 (Showa 39), the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications issued one type of Wakasa Bay Quasi-National Park Stamp.
Wakasa Bay Quasi-National Park extends from "Kehi no Matsubara" in Fukui Prefecture to "Iwataki Town" in Tango Peninsula (Kyoto Prefecture) for about 75km, and from Ine.
Town in Yosano County to Obama Coast in Kyoto Prefecture. The area is about 45km along the coast. This park was designated in June 1955.
The stamp is designed on the Takahama coast.
