1969年 (昭和44) 1月、郵政省は越前加賀国定公園切手1種を発行した。
越前加賀国定公園は、福井県敦賀 (つるが) 市水津 (すいづ) から石川県加賀市尼御前 (あまごぜん) 岬に至るエリアである。公園の全長は108キロメートルで、面積約92㎢。 1968年に指定された。柱状節理をみせる東尋坊 (とうじんぼう)、加越 (かえつ) 台地と橋立 (はしたて) 丘陵の砂浜、尼御前岬の砂丘の海食など、変化ある風景が展開する。切手は、呼鳥門 (こちょうもん) 海岸がデザインされている。

In January 1969 (Showa 44), the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications issued one type of Echizen Kaga Quasi-National Park stamp.Echizen Kaga Quasi-National Park is an area from Suizu, Tsuruga City, Fukui Prefecture to Cape Amagozen, Kaga City, Ishikawa Prefecture. The total length of the park is 108 km and the area is about 92 km. It was designated in 1968. Changing landscapes such as Tojinbo showing columnar joints, the sandy beaches of the Kaetsu plateau and the Hatate hills, and the sand dunes of Amagozen Cape unfold. The stamp is designed on the Kochomon coast.
