年賀切手 昭和11年用 1935 (昭和10年) 12月1日発行
日本最初の年賀切手は1936年 (昭和10年) 12月に、1937年 (昭和11年) 正月用として 発行された。デザインは渡辺崋山 (わたなべかざん) の「富岳図 (ふがくず) 」である。世界 最初の年賀切手は、1932年 (昭和7年) にパラグアイで発行されている。日本は世界2番目の年賀切手発行国である。発行枚数は、3億3千万枚で、小型シートも発行されている。因みに、「年賀はがき」は、戦争前は発行されていない。

The first New Year stamp in Japan was issued in December 1936 (Showa 10) for the New Year 1937 (Showa 11). The design is "Mt. Fuji" by Watanabe Kazan. The first New Year stamp in the world was issued in Paraguay in 1932 (Showa 7). Japan is the second issuing country of New Year's stamps in the world.The number of issues is 330 million, and small sheets are also issued.
By the way, "New Year's postcards" were not published before the war.
