年賀切手 昭和13年用 1937 (昭和12年) 12月15日発行
1937年 (昭和12年) 12月、第3回目の年賀切手が発行された。この年、日本は日中戦争に突入し、節約ムードになっていたので、逓信省は宣伝を控えた。そのため、3億枚以上印刷されたこの切手は半分売れ残った。この切手のデザインは、神道の祭具「しめ縄」である。

In December 1937, the third New Year stamp was released. Since Japan entered the Sino-Japanese War this year and was in a saving mood, the Ministry of Communications declined to advertise. As a result, half of the stamps, which were printed over 300 million, were unsold. The design of this stamp is "Shimenawa," a Shinto (Japanese God) festival tool.
