1963年用年賀切手は、1962年 (昭和37) 12月15日に発行された。この年も、寄付金無し年賀はがき4円 (2億6千万枚) と、額面4円+寄付金1円はがき (6億1千万枚) が発行された。年賀切手は、1500万枚 (57分の一) が発行された。デザインは、佐賀玩具の「のごみ (兎) 人形」であり、年賀はがき懸賞として「小型シート」が配賦された。

The 1963 New Year stamp was issued on December 15, 1962 (Showa 37). In this year as well, New Year's postcards with donations of 4 yen (260 million) and postcards with a face value of 4 yen + donations of 1 yen (610 million) were issued. 15 million stamps (1/57 Against postcards) were issued. The design is a Saga toy "garbage (rabbit) doll", and a "small sheet" was distributed as a New Year's postcard sweepstakes.
