1964年用年賀切手は、1963年 (昭和38) 12月16日に発行された。この年も、寄付金無し年賀はがき4円 (3億3千万枚) と、額面4円+寄付金1円はがき (6億1千万枚) が発行された。年賀切手は、1500万枚 (63分の一) が発行された。デザインは、鳥取玩具の「岩井挽物人形辰」と、山梨玩具の竜神招福であり、年賀はがき懸賞として「小型シート」が配賦された。

The 1964 New Year stamp was issued on December 16, 1963 (Showa 37). In this year as well, New Year's postcards with donations of 4 yen (330 million) and postcards with a face value of 4 yen + donations of 1 yen (610 million) were issued. 15 million stamps (1/63 Against postcards) were issued for New Year's stamps. The design was the Tottori toy "Iwai Grinding Doll Dragon" and the Yamanashi toy Ryujin Blessing, and a "small sheet" was distributed as a New Year's postcard sweepstakes.
