1967年用年賀切手は、1966年 (昭和41) 12月10日に発行された。この年も、寄付金無し年賀はがき7円 (6億5000万枚) と、額面7円+寄付金1円はがき (6億5千万枚) が発行された。年賀切手は、1億枚 (13分の一) が発行された。この年も、前年に続いて年賀はがきと年賀切手の発行において、年賀切手比率が大きく上昇したという特徴がある。理由は、前年と同じく、寄付金付葉書の収益 (年賀はがきは余った場合、普通葉書に交換可能) より、年賀切手発行 (この頃の切手ブームにより、未使用で保有された) による収益が大きいと判断したためと考えられる。 (この年の発行数は前年の3500万枚から3倍に増加) デザインは、奈良一刀彫玩具の「ヒツジ」であり、年賀はがき懸賞として「小型シート」が配賦された。
