1993年用年賀切手は、1992年 (平成4年) 11月16日に発行された。今年は、41円 (5千万枚) と62円年賀切手 (1千万枚) と、くじ付きの41+3円 (1500万枚) と62+3円年賀切手 (1300万枚) 4種が発行された。デザインは、年賀切手と寄付金付き年賀切手とも、41円が「干支のにわとり」、62円が、「太鼓乗りにわとり」である。更に、年賀はがき懸賞として年賀切手41円と62円を組み合わせた「小型シート」が配賦された。
