郵政省と地方郵政局は、1996年 (平成8) 6月、「ふるさと切手」を発行した。デザインは、福井県の「紫式部と日野山」 (574万枚) である。同時に切手帳ペーンが発行された。
Furusato (Regional) Stamps Issued on 6 24, 1996 (Heisei 8)
The Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications and the Local Post Office issued "Furusato Stamps" in June 1996 (Heisei 8). The design is "Murasaki Shikibu and Mt. Hino" (5.74 million sheets) from Fukui Prefecture. At the same time, a stamp booklet pane was issued.
