郵政省と地方郵政局は、1997年（平成9）7月、「ふるさと切手」を発行した。デザイ ンは、秋田県の「竿灯祭り」（620万枚）である。同時に、切手帳ペーンが発行された。
Furusato (Regional) Stamps Issued on 7 7, 1997 (Heisei 9)
The Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications and the Local Post Office issued "Furusato Stamps" in July 1997 (Heisei 9). The design is "Kanto Festival" (6.2 million pieces) in Akita Prefecture. At the same time, a stamp booklet pane was issued.
