郵政省と地方郵政局は、1999年（平成11）4月、「ふるさと切手」を発行した。デザインは、石川県の、「兼六園の四季」（各829.5万枚）である。同時に、小型シートが発行された。
Furusato (Regional) Stamps Issued on 4 26, 1999 (Heisei 11)
The Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications and the Local Post Office issued "Furusato Stamps" in April 1999 (Heisei 11). The design is "Four Seasons of Kenrokuen" (8.295 million pieces each) in Ishikawa Prefecture. At the same time, a small sheet was issued.
